Blue Iguana Catereing was started by Chef Bruce Dickson. Bruce
attended The Culinary Institute of America and has trained
as an intern under Chef Scott Gilbert at the Worthington in
Fort Worth Texas. |

After graduating he went on to take a position at Hyatt
Regency Pier 66 in Fort Lauderdale and after one year was
promoted to executive sous chef. He then transferred to
the Park Hyatt in Philadelphia as the banquet chef.
Whist
Bruce was executive chef at the Yacht Club of Stone Harbor,
he was contacted by a friend with a restaurant opportunity
here in the BVI. He eagerly accepted, and was then approached
to become a Chef Instructor for the New England Culinary
Institute here on Tortola, a position which he thoroughly
enjoyed. Blue Iguana Catering's professionalism and attention
to detail will take all the worry out of planning your perfect
day. Whether it's an intimate dinner for two or a wedding
for 200, we will ensure that the food is fabulous and the
event memorable. Their friendly wait-staff are courteous
and professional yet non-obtrusive, making your day absolutely
perfect.
If Bruce isn?t cooking he is sure to be found cheering
on Jeff Gordon with his lovely wife and new NASCAR fan -
his son!

the US you can fly to the BVI via San Juan, Puerto Rico, American
Airlines offers direct service into Tortola as well as a number
of smaller airlines with scheduled flights, and you can get
a charter flight as well from San Juan, if that suits your
time schedule better.
Our airport code is EIS, the airport is located
on Beef Island which is at the East End of Tortola, attached
to Tortola by bridge.You
may want to fly to St. Thomas, USVI and then take the ferry
to Tortola or VIrgin Gorda or wherever you may be staying
in the British Virgin Islands. Charter flights also operate
from St. Thomas to Tortola. |
